haha.. haven't update for so long..

someone should really slap me away from my comp when i play games.. my roommate doesn't help, seriously

anyways.. let me share my wonderful trip back to sd last weekend after "celebrating" some bday party

11/9/03 - 6:30 AM

ordered amtrack reservation for train at 3:00 pm on the same day

10:20 AM - called someone to pick me up from my house and drop me off the train station at 2:30

2:29 PM - that someone called me from his cell and said he can't find the house

2:45 PM - he comes to my house to pick me up

2:56 PM - arrived at train station

2:57 PM - rushed to the reservation machine, CAN'T WORK THAT DAMN THING, resorted to buying a ticket in line

2:59 PM - go the ticket, found out that the train is at track 12 (station begins at track 1)

2:59:50 PM - climbed upstairs, see the train, ran into it like there's no tomorrow

3:00 PM - train doors closing, leaving edward out of breath, but damn proud of his sprinting skills for the first time

i also went to the museum trip on tuesday.. it was a great trip, cept for the fact that i went alone (sigh) and the fact that i got lost twice while looking for it (good thing nobody did come with me.. or else i'm dead right now)  I found that i'm appreciating art more than ever now =p

regular school stuff is pretty good.. but nothing much to mention.

ok.. i've baned my d2 game... if you see in my away message saying that i'm away due to a game that takes up my whole screen.. slap the shit out of me

halloween was pretty fun.. i went shopping at 99 ranch with a group of my friends.. who were dressed up as monsters.. and considering that two of them are white.. we were given weird stares.. so i ended up pretending not knowing them lol

weekend is messed up.. we (my roommate and i) sleep at 6 am and wake up at 3 pm.. i need to change my schedule back

anyways, back to typing my art lectures on computer... if anyone is ever taking vis 21 in sd.. tell me and i'll give you a free A for $20.. hehe

for those of you who already knew.. i'll say it again

Diablo 2 patch 1.10 came out 3 days go + having no school for the past 3 days =

to say the truth (with no exaggeration) we calculated our playing time yesterday, and it came out to be 16/24 hours ... from 12 am to 6 am, then from 12 pm to 2 pm, 3 pm to 12 pm... we played like there's no tomorrow

because of this, i've decided to take a break and stop playing for a while

the fire at sd is prett bad.. and sympathy to those who lost their homes... (this may sound insincere but i'm fucking serious) the air is bad for the past 3 days too.. even in my room i can smell the smoke... cars in the parking lot has obvious signs of ashes on them.. this reminds me of volcano..

i hope hunters and travelers will learn from this experience not to use flares on dry ground... and devise a way to allow calls of help to be less dangerous than before.

since i didn't have any midterms during the days that we don't have school.. the schedule didn't really affected me.. but alot of lucky bastards ended up having free A's on their quizes... bums

sorry guys, haven't update for two straight days... worse than i expected

even though i have no midterms in the past two days, the past week was almost as hectic as though i have multiple incoming tortures at once.  As some of my suitemates put away their ps2 and x-box and begin covering the chalkboard with mathematical equations, others plug their ear and mouth holes and pry their eyes open to stare at their poly sci note pages for the slightest hint of enlightment.  Seeing this state of panic, even i was unable to fight against their will to study and ended up....

well it's not my fault that my midterms are over... although i was sort of depressed over the fact that i didn't score a perfect score on my art exam (2 pts ain't too far) and the fact that i chose this class as pass/no pass (how i regret my cowardly decision).. i was most unhappy over my score for my math... the subject that i studied more furiously on for a total of 6 hours... me no like

damn i kick ass

or rather, my friends kick ass... thx for all the props i've gotten this past few days... i've only started for a couple days and already ppl are propping me.. (though i doubt i'll get much in the future, considering i won't be updating everyday)  if you haven't noticed.. i was trying to write stuff differently so that i can "sorta" practice some vocabs that were in my head but never used in real life.  today i'll revert myself to the normal form of writing

today is the first and only day that i have a midterm... since my physics course spread the major part of the grade into quizzes to improve attendence (it's pretty effective acutally, especially with this remote control thingy.. i'll show that next time) and my comp sci work are all done on computers (meaning nobody goes either... i've been in the real lecture for a grand total of... 4 lectures out of like... 10) my art class splits the grade into 5 parts... 4 * 20% on four tests, and the last 20% on the attendence to lectures and a 4 page essay.

basically, i considered the math midterm a big test... and if you look down, i was at the library for 6 hours yesterday

it was not worth it

the math test was alot easier than i expected... looking back, probably 3 hours of studying was sufficient... although i would have to be lucky enough to read the parts covered on the test and not the other info...

nevertheless, i'm pretty glad that i think i did well.. it's a satifying to know that my first (?) serious attempt at studying paid off.. perhaps i'll do that for other courses too (not last minute though)
